Observational drawing is a great way to hone drawing skills while also tapping into critical thinking skills. Spend time in the Gallery space and be inspired by the works on display in Ryan Presley’s Mongrel. Discuss Presley’s use of composition and juxtaposition of classical art imagery with the modern experiences of Indigenous culture. Create a drawing based on the artworks.
All materials are provided and students can be dropped off to enjoy this activity under the supervision of our qualified teachers.
