Hosted at the serene Pecometh retreat center along the banks of the Chester River, this three-day event offers an escape from the daily pressures of leadership, allowing you to slow down, recharge, relax, and build meaningful relationships within the vibrant community of social enterprise leaders.

The retreat is offered at no cost to attendees, with meals, transportation, and childcare assistance (as needed) included. It balances structured activities with self-directed exploration, supporting your personal well-being and holistic growth. Participate in group sessions covering topics such as mental health, stress management, and sustainable leadership, and engage in a variety of activities including yoga, outdoor adventures, wellness workshops, and creative pursuits.

Vision & Goals

We consistently hear from our social entrepreneurs about the significant impact of burnout on themselves and their enterprises. In line with Innovation Works' strategic plan objective to expand support for social entrepreneurs, with a focus on the 'Whole Person,' this retreat aims to support leaders on their wellness journey. Our goal is to offer a supportive space that prioritizes personal rest, restoration, and connection with others who share a passion for social impact. We believe that leaders who prioritize their own well-being can serve their communities more effectively, amplifying their impact and strengthening the ecosystem that benefits Baltimore's neighborhoods.
