As we stroll through this historic cemetery, we’ll visit several striking mausoleums and notable gravesites while learning about the lives, accomplishments, and fascinating stories of the individuals who played a role in the growth and development of Syracuse.

This is more than a walk through a cemetery—it’s an opportunity to discover the people and stories behind Syracuse’s history, architecture, and community.

Tour length: Approximately 1½ hours
Location: Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY
Terrain: Please be aware that the tour includes walking on some uneven terrain and cemetery paths. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
