Hey young folks (ages 15-29)! Come share your thoughts and ideas at our in-person gathering focused on shaping Oakland’s future. It’s a chill space to speak up about what matters to you in your neighborhood and beyond. Your voice matters—let’s make sure it’s heard loud and clear!

About This Project
In collaboration with the City of Oakland, our Youth Fellows are working on the Oakland General Plan, specifically how young people want the city to look and feel by 2045. This youth listening session will introduce participants to the City’s draft land-use maps and create space for youth to share their perspectives, priorities, and ideas for Oakland’s future.

Who Are We?
The Urban Strategies Council Youth Fellows Program supports youth leadership development in Oakland and Vallejo by training young leaders across Alameda and Solano Counties in peer mentoring, community engagement, youth advocacy, and outreach.
