Oakland County's America 250 Celebration!

Summer is just around the corner and things are heating up here at the History Center! This year, our annual Summer Social is transforming into Oakland County's premier America 250 event. In partnership with Oakland County Parks, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners and the City of Pontiac, we are making this year's festivities into something truly special. It's the same great event you've come to know and love, but just bigger and better! Don't worry, there's still free ice cream.
We are going to have a bunch of volunteer opportunities and work days coming up, to help get our campus ready for the big time. We hope to see you there, but if not, please join us and celebrate the diverse and wonderful world of local history with us.
July 25th and 26th
noon to 4pm both days
at the Oakland History Center
405 Cesar E Chavez Ave
Pontiac, MI 48342
