Established in 1927, this iconic park spans 11,584 acres, offering runners ruggedly beautiful terrain to explore.The course winds through the forested hills of Oak Mountain, featuring mostly single-track trails that will challenge and inspire. Prepare for two significant climbs as you ascend to the breathtaking summit of Double Oak Mountain, where you'll be rewarded with spectacular views that make the effort worthwhile.
As you race, be sure to soak in the beauty of Peavine Falls, a majestic 65-foot waterfall nestled at the highest ridge in the park. You'll also traverse through Maggie's Glen and Shackleford Point, standing tall at 1,260 feet, which is the highest point in Oak Mountain State Park.
