Get shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the most creative and inspiring game developers in the area and play some amazing indie games!
Welcome to the Oak City Indie Games 2026 Eventbrite page!
We have a location change this year, Wake Tech's Southern campus (Student Services Building L #1636) instead of the previous Frontier RTP location - more space for more incredible games!
Oak City Indie Games is a beloved annual showcase featuring work from local NC (now including other East Coast) indie game developers and artists. Let’s take the day to celebrate our local community and play some awesome games together!
Come out and meet local game developers, artists, and creatives. Play awesome indie games, demos, works-in-progress, jam games, TTRPGs, board games, experimental games, multiplayer games, and more.
Oak City Indie Games 2026 will be held at Wake Tech! In addition to local games, we'll be able to play projects from students of the SGD Program!
- An Associate's Degree program is designed to give students a broad understanding of all facets of video game design, while also allowing them to focus on honing the skills best suited to their abilities and maximize their potential
Kids 6 and under get in free!
