About this Event
135 miles.2 mile swim. 16 mile run. 12 mile paddle. 10 mile carry. 95 mile bike.
The Oahu Pentathlon is an experience in teamwork and endurance to circumnavigate the island of Oahu. Where passable by road, water and trail, this event will carry you through the iconic blue waters of Kailua Bay, past Chinaman’s Hat, by the popular surf line of North Shore, around Ka’ena Point, through hotspot Waikiki, around Diamond Head and Kokohead above Hanauma Bay, up the Makapu'u lighthouse and around the beauty of Waimanalo Beach - you get to see it all at a pace that meets the “Aloha” of the island.
You have 24 hours from sunrise to sunrise to complete the challenge.

READ BEFORE YOU REGISTER -
It is your responsibility to be aware of the following information about the registration process and event.
General Information & Disclaimers:
- This is a live, in-person event. There will be no virtual participation.
- Ticket costs for Adventure Team are a per person cost.
- All members of a team will be registered at the same time as separate tickets and under the same registration, meaning that total payment as a team will be collected in a single transaction. Do not register without your team.
- The Eventbrite automated timestamp may not accurately reflect this event according to your time zone. This live event starts at sunrise (6:05amHST) on Saturday, August 3, 2024 and will end at sunrise (6:05amHST) on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
- If you are registering your team, make sure to collect all of your teammates' information before you begin the registration process to save time. You may change teammate information after your initial registration process, if needed.
- If you do not have a team but would like to participate in this event, join our Community page on Facebook to shoutout for some teammates! We'll do our best to help you find a team.
- This is a self-supported event. Teams and individuals will be responsible for flight, lodging, meals, transportation of gear/persons between staging locations, as well as the acquisition of any needed equipment including but not limited to bicycles, kayaks, life vests, swimwear, etc. except for the sandbag which will be provided at the event and on location.
- Solo Trek participants will need to register with the name, email address and phone number of their Support Coordinator (SC) during the event. This is the person who will be helping to coordinate your experience of the event. If you do not have this determined at the time of registration, you will be required to submit this information at or before Check In & Athlete Briefing on Friday, August 25. It will be your personal benefit to provide this information sooner than later so that we can best prepare you and your SC.
- All participants will be required to fill out a liability waiver for permission into the event.
- All participants and volunteers must be 18 years or older, or have completed a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Refunds & COVID-19:
- Event will occur rain or shine. No refunds will be issued for weather conditions.
- Local ordinances and regulations for COVID-19 will be enforced.
- Refunds will not be issued for postponement of event due to unforeseen circumstances related to COVID-19, weather or otherwise.
- Refunds will not be issued for any issues arising due to COVID-19 including, but not limited to, travel delays or complications and/or illness.
