Calling all cat lovers! Ohio Animal Advocates and our generous sponsors are hosting our annual, free, in-person Community Cat Summit, and we’re bringing a lineup of expert speakers to talk about all things community cats. From access to spay/neuter to volunteer management, to fundraising, to legislation, there’s something for everyone.
A few highlights…
Cheri Storms of United Spay Alliance and Pet Friendly Services of Indiana will show you how to make the financial case for S/N in A Guide for Advocates.
Dr. Gonzalez of Rascal Unit will dig into access to veterinary care.
Vicki Deisner, OAA's own, will break down the Supreme Court Kyles decision, which brings outdoor cats and dogs under Ohio animal cruelty laws.
Chris Riggi, founder of Riggi Rescue, will talk about creative fundraising strategies to grow your impact and gain support.
Plus, there will be panels of local experts to answer your questions about volunteer recruitment/retention and all things fundraising!
Not to mention… lunch is on us, and the Rascal Unit’s mobile veterinary vehicle will be onsite and available for tours! Share this event with all the cat lovers you know, we can’t wait to see you there!
