O-Jak Bridge Art & Dance Festival Presents “Wonderland” — A Multicultural Journey Through Imagination and ConnectionSeattle, WA — November 2025
The O-Jak Bridge Art & Dance Festival, founded and directed by MiYoung Margolis, returns for its fourth annual celebration on November 8 (7:30 PM) and November 9 (3:30 PM) at the Broadway Performance Hall in Seattle.
This year’s theme, “Wonderland,” reimagines Alice in Wonderland through a multicultural lens — transforming the stage and gallery into a dreamlike landscape where dance, art, and storytelling meet.
This year’s theme, “Wonderland,” transforms the stage into a dreamscape across three immersive acts:
Act 1: Descent into Wonderland — Alice’s first steps into the surreal, guided by whimsical ballet, pantomime, and ensemble works.
Act 2: Tea Party, “Disrupted Time & Space” — A kaleidoscope of surreal trains, fantastical tea ceremonies, live painting, and cross-cultural collaborations that bend reality.
Act 3: Chess Game & Awakening — A climactic duel of queens, martial artistry, and the delicate return from dream to reality.
Beyond the stage, audiences will encounter live painting performances, innovative fashion showcases, and original compositions, making O-Jak not just a performance but a fully immersive cultural experience.
