Chromanaut Workshop at NordCon 2025
Join the Chromanauts for a hands-on, creative weekend at NordCon 2025! We’ll be hosting an open miniature art workshop throughout the convention, along with a range of special events and focused sessions.

Open Workshop
The Chromanauts will host an open workshop all weekend long. Drop by to paint, build, or chat! We’ll provide space, tools, and materials for you to work on your miniature art. Our team will be on-site working on their own projects and are happy to offer tips, advice, or just geek out about the hobby.
Speedpaint Contest
How well can you paint under pressure? Join our quick-fire speedpainting challenge! We provide the tools and miniatures—you bring the focus and flair. Great fun for painters of all levels.
Basing Workshop
Make your miniatures pop with great-looking bases! Learn simple, effective techniques to create awesome bases using everyday tools and materials (provided on-site).
Basic Airbrush Workshop
New to airbrushing? We’ll introduce you to this powerful tool, cover basic techniques, and walk you through common pitfalls. Bring your own airbrush if you have one, or borrow one from the Chromanauts. Paints and supplies will be available.
Kitbashing Workshop
Transform your miniatures into something truly unique! We’ll explore kitbashing techniques using putty, pinning, and part-swapping to customize models and create new characters or creatures.
Advanced Miniature Painting Workshop
Push beyond the basics! In this session, we’ll look at advanced techniques not typically covered in standard paint guides. Discover alternative approaches and challenge yourself to level up your skills.
