Saving the Sounds of Summer – Mitre 10 Garden Speaker SeriesThe low drone hum of bumblebees bouncing from flower to flower is one of the quintessential sounds of a New Zealand summer. But bumblebees are under threat.
Without bumblebees and their pollinator friends, food crops and the countryside as we know it will simply cease to exist.
Geoff Brunsden from the NZ Bumblebee Conservation Trust will take you on a fascinating journey of understanding the bumblebee, and why and how we must help these iconic super pollinators.
