Join us at New York University for the 5th Annual Multidisciplinary Conference on Africa, hosted by the NYU African Graduate Students Association (AGSA).
At a time when Africa’s voice, vision, and vitality are reshaping global conversations, this year’s conference turns inward and outward at once. True transformation begins with reclaiming identity, purpose, and cultural grounding — and extends into collective action that builds institutions, industries, and movements capable of advancing the continent.
Under the theme,
“Reclaiming Ourselves, Rebuilding Our World: African Transformation Through Inner Power and Collective Action,”
we will explore how personal empowerment and shared responsibility intersect to shape Africa’s next chapter. Through dynamic keynote and panel sessions, this conference will highlight bold leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and innovative pathways driving progress across business, policy, technology, media, architecture, and culture.
From redefining narratives and influencing global industries to strengthening governance and civic accountability, our speakers represent a generation actively building the Africa of tomorrow — both on the continent and across the diaspora.
Whether you are a student, emerging leader, seasoned professional, creative, or entrepreneur, this conference is your opportunity to engage deeply, expand your network, and contribute meaningfully to conversations that move Africa forward.
