NYFRS Simulation Training

Welcome to an exciting day of hands-on simulation training at Easingwold Fire Station and Training Centre! This unique experience offers the chance to work alongside North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (NYFRS), responding to realistic road traffic collision (RTC) scenarios as part of an ambulance crew. You’ll gain valuable inter-agency working experience, apply JESIP principles, and develop essential emergency response skills in a dynamic, real-world setting.

This in-person training immerses you in the world of joint emergency response, allowing you to develop your skills and gain insight into the challenges faced in a safe controlled environment. Following each scenario, there will be a structured debrief to reflect and learn.

Attendees must participate within their scope of practice, wear full uniform including PPE, and be prepared for the active site and nature of incidents. As this is a CPD opportunity, attendance is in your own time, but refreshments will be provided courtesy of NYFRS.

Please note the days vary in duration, therefore please check timings for the session you are booking onto. Some sessions ambulance will be in attendance on the last day of firefighter training whereas some it'll be during RTC refresher training, experience of NYFRS attending will vary depending on the day you choose.

Upon arrival at the fire station, you will need to register your attendance and will be directed to the meeting room.
