Back by popular demand, this New Year’s Eve at The Colonial Theatre for a special performance by one of Berkshire County’s favorite bands, Max Creek! Celebrating five decades of music in the Northeast, Max Creek’s eclectic style defies genre boundaries, blending rock, country, reggae, soul, jazz and calypso with their original songwriting. Their joyous performances are filled with smiles and laughter, both during and between songs, creating an engaging atmosphere that captivates audiences.
Max Creek’s shows are dynamically crafted from their extensive catalog of over 200 songs, featuring rockers, ballads, deep jams and crowd sing-alongs. The band is truly a family, with guitarist Scott Murawski, keyboardist Mark Mercier and bassist John Rider playing together since the mid-’70s, joined by the talented Bill Carbone and Jamemurrell Stanley on drums and percussion. Their multi-generational audience reflects this enduring legacy, with long-time “Creek Freeks” grooving alongside their teenage (or older!) kids.
