OPEN TO ALL NYCHA RESIDENTS

This gathering will be a space for learning, connection, and collective strength, where participants can broaden their knowledge and deepen their ability to respond to the needs of fellow New Yorkers.

Below are a list of collaborative workshops where we will have real conversation as we uplift up stories, tools, and practices that help us care for ourselves and each other.

Workshop topics include:

• Intergenerational Trauma & Healing Practices
• Supporting the Teens in Our Lives and Communities
• Substance Use and Pathways to Recovery
• Mental Health Crisis Prevention and Response
• Mental Health Education and Awareness

Together, we’re working toward a shared vision of equitable access to mental health and wellbeing supports that reduce stigma and nurture health, opportunity, and empowerment across NYCHA communities. Organized by NYCHA Resident Health Initiatives in partnership with the NYCHA Mental Health Taskforce, New York City Department of Health, NYC Mayors Office of Community Mental Health and the New School Center for Global Mental Health.
