NYC Walk With Us to Cure Lupus Event

Lupus Research Alliance will be holding its annual Walk with Us to Cure Lupus event in NYC on Saturday October 19 2024 to raise awareness and funds for research.

The event will include inspiring speakers light grab & go refreshments during the walk a t-shirt contest and a variety of activity booths. There is no fee to participate but donations are appreciated. 100% of all donations go directly to lupus research programs.

Lupus is a chronic and complex autoimmune disease that affects millions of people worldwide. More than 90 percent of people with lupus are women and lupus disproportionately affects women of color. In lupus the immune system which is designed to protect against infection creates antibodies that can attack any part of the body including the kidneys brain heart lungs blood skin and joints. Registration opens at 8:00 AM ET and the walks starts at 9:00 AM ET.
