About this Event

NYC Summit-Rewriting Youth Centered Culture: YPA Edition

The Youth Peer Advocate Coalition was originally founded in 2019, as a result of a 2017 Youth Peer Advocate Satisfaction Survey, (focused on the role, job satisfaction and job support). The YPAC (Youth Peer Advocate Coalition) was born to help address the reccomendations of this survey. It is a youth-guided group comprised of organizations invested in the workforce development and support of YPAs in NYC.

Our official re-launch is here!

This is a call to action for organizational leaders!

Our goal is to have CEOs, agency leadership, or an agency representative, to assist an immersive experience, that'll tackle current Youth Peer Advocate challenges within the role, host an expert panel on systematically addressing these by shifting agency culture in support of the YPA role, and a departure gate leading to future collaborations! Be ready to board flight YPAC-101.
