Join us Saturday, February 1st for the 30th anniversary of animal rights activist Jill Phipps' death. She protested the fur trade alongside her mother but is remembered worldwide on this day for defending innocent animals through her activism to ban live export in the UK. She paid the ultimate price by losing her life in a horrible accident crushed beneath the wheels of a live animal transport truck. đź“ŚFUR PROTEST: 2:00- 3:00PM
Join us for a memorial to commemorate the life of Jill Phipps with a small ceremony. We'll say a few words and lay down flowers in her memory. A loud fur protest will follow, target and meetupđź“Ťwill be announced here.

In our cover photo is Jill protesting the sale of fur outside Hudson Bay in London. Hudson Bay & Co is the Canadian Company responsible for introducing the fur trade. I’m sure she would be thrilled to know that both Hudson Bay & Co and Saks Fifth Avenue, owned by Hudson Bay & Co (a campaign targeting its flagship store in NYC and lead by us activists), has also enacted a further-free policy! This was a huge blow to the fur industry. 🥰
