About this Event
Join Playcrafting for a night of gaming and community at OS-NYC!
This month’s Indie Dev Night is all about practicing pitching your game! March is usually a crazy month for developers, between GDC in San Francisco and PAX East in Boston - we know a lot of you are either recovering from these events, preparing for these events, or choosing to stay closer to home! Whatever the case may be, let's keep the spirit of these developer events alive at Indie Dev Night this month by keeping it comfy and practicing our game pitches.
- Sign up when you arrive to reserve your big screen spot!
- You have 3 minutes to practice your short pitch! Another 7 minutes to either demo or let folks play on the big screen. This is a great exercise in learning to pitch your game in front of an audience; either rehearse your pitch or do it ad hoc on stage! Let people know your game inspiration, development roadmap, current and future features, etc! Pro Tip: A little humor or levity goes a long way with a pitch!
- Dress Code: Pajamas! We're keeping it comfy in the wake of March being so event-heavy
And don’t worry, as always, the theme is simply inspiration. Please bring whatever you are working on!
Playtest, share your work, meet new friends, and celebrate NYC’s indie game community.
Happy Hour is 5-7 pm, you're welcome to come early!
