About this Event
Most networking events are broad.
Most pitch events are theater.
This is neither.
The Pitch Room NYC (Bar Night Edition) is a vertical-specific room designed to connect founders, operators, and growth partners around the constraint that quietly drives outcomes: customer acquisition.

Last week, we hosted a small Bar Night. Danny, the owner of a rapidly expanding gym on the Upper West Side, stepped to the mic. He didn't just want more members.
He had an ambitious, highly technical vision: He wanted to build a Physical-Layer AI personal trainer using vector mathematics to correct form in real-time.
But he also had an immediate operational bottleneck: He needed a proven performance marketing agency to fill his group sessions yesterday.
At a normal event, Danny would have gotten a pat on the back. At The Pitch Room, he got infrastructure.

Here is what happened next:
- Hour 1 (The Match): Right there at the bar, I introduced Danny to an elite marketing agency founder who had literally just flown in from Warsaw. His agency scales high-end Dubai wellness clinics, and he had just opened a New York office looking for an ambitious flagship client. Perfect symmetry.
- Hour 48 (The Execution): We didn't wait. We met Danny on the floor of his gym. We mapped out the strategy, got a workout in, and started discussing hosting a "Healthy Founders" syndicate right there on the turf.
- Hour 72 (The Engineering Sprint): We fired up a Zoom call with Danny and Troy, my lead Real-World AI Architect. We ran a brutal "Doom & Gloom" risk assessment. We mapped the hardware constraints, the privacy risks, and the PG Vector software integration required to turn his gym into a sentient AI environment.
Danny walked into a bar on a Tuesday. By Friday, he had a global performance marketing agency scaling his revenue, and a deep-tech engineering firm prototyping his physical AI infrastructure.
Hosted by Amit Mohan- operator-first founder and growth architect. At the classy & elegant Linen Hall in East Village.
Amit has managed millions in paid ads (with receipts) and built a 10,000+ member operator community () where the lessons and frameworks can be reviewed and learned from.
Event Highlights
1-Minute Founder Elevator Pitches (limited slots)
A limited number of founders get 60 seconds to present:
- what you’re building
- traction (or what you’ve shipped)
- what you need (customers, distribution, hires, capital)
10–15 Growth Partner / Agency Pitches (The Growth Lane)
A curated set of growth partners also get 60 seconds to pitch:
- who they serve (and who they don’t)
- what they’re best at (Meta, Google, creative, email/SMS, CRO, landing pages, tracking, etc.)
- the type of founder they want to meet tonight
This creates a rare dynamic: founders meet partners with clear fit, fast.
Open Networking (after pitches)
After the pitches, the room opens into networking. Founders connect with the right growth partners. Investors connect with founders who can communicate clearly and execute. Operators connect with teams that are hiring and shipping.
WhatsApp Group (before + after)
A dedicated WhatsApp group is created to connect before the event and keep the room active afterward.
Who Should Attend (Tech Startups)
- Startup founders / co-founders
- Investors (angels, VCs, scouts, family offices)

Amit has generated tens of millions in paid ads (with receipts) and built a 10,000+ member operator community () where the lessons and frameworks can be reviewed and learned from.
This is not your typical Pitch / Networking event.
Here's a video where Amit takes his own course on camera, and profitably bootstraps DTC brand from scratch to $100,000 MRR from the very first ad campaign.
Additionally as a self-taught full-stack AI Systems Architect (programmer in 20+ languages)...
Amit spent the last 5 years engineering a new standard of Performance Marketing: The Ecometrix.
These are the hidden, vector-based signals—Revenue Bleed, Thematic Debt, and Structural Gaps—that define your distance from the Winning Vector in your Market.
While most people are guessing which ad-angle to launch next, he's monitoring simultaneous, multi-brand spikes in ad-spend across the globe.
This allows Ecometrix to identify Structural Gaps—the specific apps, traffic mixes, and thematic hooks you are missing compared to the Niche standard.
I’ve spent my life mastering the operations, media buying, AND engineering sides of this game. I've solo-engineered Ecometrix to turn human marketing agencies into AI-Native Agencies ():
It's now obvious that a 5-person marketing agency should be able to service Fortune 100 companies like Home Depot.
The traditional agency model is dead. It is bloated by human capital and guesswork. No wonder Y-Comb's Top Request is 'AI-Native Agencies'..
So we are building the infrastructure for the fully AI-operated marketing agency.
Right now, if a boutique agency has 5 world-class video editors, their revenue is capped by human hours. Through Ecometrix, we are changing that.
We are taking the exact business logic of top-tier media buyers and vectorizing it. We map their decision trees, their creative testing frameworks, and their scaling logic into high-dimensional vector embeddings.
We then wire those insights directly into LLMs and Python scripts that execute the workflows autonomously.
The result? That 5-person creative shop can now deploy programmatic media buying at the scale of a Fortune 500 company.
The marketing agencies who understand this are at The Pitch Room NYC (transitioning to AI-Native Agencies)
Whether you're a Pre-Founder or Pre-IPO - I hope you're ready to take unprecedented value from this highly atypical Pitch/Networking Event.
Agenda
🕑: 07:00 PM - 07:30 PM
Welcome, Doors Open & Warm Networking (20–30 min)
Info: Arrive, grab a drink, and get into real conversations early.
This room is built around one truth: most startups don’t lose because they can’t raise — they lose because they can’t acquire customers efficiently.
So the goal in this first block is simple: meet the people who can move your distribution forward.
🕑: 07:30 PM - 08:00 PM
Round 1 Pitches — Founders (30 x 60 seconds) (30 min)
Info: 30 founders. 60 seconds each.
You’ll hear what’s being built, what traction is real, and—most importantly—what each founder needs to unlock growth (customers, partners, hires, distribution, capital).
This is designed to create instant context so networking becomes targeted and useful.
🕑: 08:00 PM - 08:30 PM
Reset + Targeted Networking Break (20-30 min)
Info: This is where the room turns into a marketplace.
If you’re a founder: find the growth partners and investors that fit your stage.
If you’re an investor: find founders with clarity, momentum, and execution ability.
If you’re an operator: find teams that are hiring and shipping.
🕑: 08:30 PM - 09:00 PM
Round 2 Pitches — The Growth Lane (10–15 x 60 seconds) (15-30 min)
Info: 10–15 vetted growth / marketing agencies pitch in a tight format:
who they help (and who they don’t)
what they’re best in the world at (Meta, Google, creative, CRO, retention, tracking, landing pages, etc.)
what kind of founder they want to meet tonight
This is the point of difference: founders don’t just “network”—they leave with a shortlist of real options to acquire customers.
🕑: 09:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Open Networking + Follow-Up Setup (60+ min)
Info: The rest of the night is open networking—fast, social, and deal-focused.
Before you leave, make sure you’re plugged into the event WhatsApp group so connections compound after tonight. The best outcomes come from the second conversation.
