NYC Darkness RISING: Live 7: Black Mental Health Block Party & Concert!

Darkness RISING: Live is an annual FREE music and mental health event. Now in our 7th year, the block party features the Black Broadway community and NYC local singers performing inspirational songs + Black mental health providers as guest speakers. The event is hosted by Darkness RISING Project Nonprofit, a 501(c)3 organization which provides direct mental health resources to marginalized communities. 

The event will be at Adam Clayton Powell Plaza in Harlem, NY.

Enjoy a live concert, free dance class, wellness workshops, vendor marketplace, food trucks, live music, giveaways, and more. This event is free and open to the public.

Darkness RISING: Live is a benefit concert featuring the Black Broadway and NYC community performing inspirational songs for Black mental health and Black mental health providers as guest speakers. This exciting event is hosted by Darkness RISING Project Nonprofit, a Black-led 501(c)3 organization that provides direct mental health resources to the Black community. Past performers include stars from the Black Broadway community from shows such as HAMILTON, DREAMGIRLS WEST END, AIN'T TOO PROUD, ALADDIN, LES MISERABLES, THE COLOR PURPLE, THE LION KING, and more. This event includes vendors, food trucks, Black mental health professionals, wellness workshops, free resources, giveaways, live music, and more!
