NWA Equality presents Queer Quest, a monthly safe space, queer-friendly game night on the first Friday of the month featuring roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Scurvy Buggers, Nancy Druid, Dragon's Bane, Women are Werewolves, Fate, Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Queerz, Fallout, Star Trek, Shadowrun and many other RPG adventure our volunteer gamemasters have on offer each month. Doors open at 6:00pm, but games don't start until 7:00pm. We end at 10:00pm. The location is at Good Shepherd, home of Queer Camp and the Rainbow Closet, at 2925 Old Missouri Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72703. This is a safe space, non-religious event. Enter by the Office doors.
You can register in advance for seats at specific tables each month, but we always keep at least one or two seats open at each table so there are always openings on game nights. NWA RPG and Board Gamers is allowing NWA Equality to use their gaming Discord server if you want to register for games in advance and find out about several other gaming opportunities in NWA. Our gamemasters go over lines and veils (safe space rules) every session. You do not need any prior experience to join any of our games. All games are open to new players and veterans alike. We provide a friendly environment and support for social anxiety. We always use nametags, introduce you to each other, and we check in with our players regularly. We have an optional potluck of chips and snacks, but this is a free event, there is no requirement to participate. We also have plenty of dice and rulebooks, so you only need to bring yourself.
