NWA Book Swap 2026

NWA Book Swap allows attendees to shop thousands of titles and swap up to TEN gently used books in the company of other readers!

Event Highlights:

Bring a Book, Take a Book: pass along your lightly used books to a new home and add some new titles to your collection. For every book you bring, you will be able to take a different one home! This means, if you bring three books, you'll get to take 3 books.

Please bring books that meet the following criteria:

• Printed within the last fifteen years.
• In good condition - i.e. books can show some small signs of wear but no tears or either binding or paper; all pages and dust jackets must be present. Please, no library copies.
• No children's books, picture or board books, though graphic novels and young adult novels are acceptable.
• Respectful to ALL folks attending and do not contain harmful rhetoric.

Please Note, The Early Bird Gets the Book: Last year, almost all of the 3000 books were swapped within the first 45 minutes of the event. This is a drop-in event, but it's also first come, first serve - please be aware that the stacks will get smaller throughout the night.

Be Ready to Treasure Hunt! Stacks will NOT be sorted by genre this year; rather, tables will be filled as books arrive. This will allow for readers who arrive later to have a chance to hunt some of the titles on their TBR.

Diverse Genres Galore: Our Book Swap celebrates the beauty of diversity in literature. Whether you're captivated by thrilling mysteries, enchanted by magical fantasy worlds, or prefer heartwarming tales of romance, we'll have something for everyone. Explore a wide range of genres and discover hidden gems.

Book Drop-Off: We will have few different times and locations for book drop-off. Attendees will be able to drop off their books the day of the event (March 1st) between the hours of 12pm and 3pm at Moxy Fayetteville (where the event is located). We will also have drop off locations in the weeks leading up to the event at Moxy Fayetteville, Underbrush Books in Rogers, and Two Friends Books in Bentonville. You must have a ticket in order to swap books. When you drop your books off, you will receive the same number of tickets, which you will need to bring to the event in order to redeem your books at the end of the night.

Refreshments and Light Bites: Bar Moxy will be open for your enjoyment during the event, serving it's full menu of delicious bevvys and bites!
