NVMS Fall Meeting 2025

Join us for a day filled with exciting discussions and networking opportunities at the House of Connections in the heart of Groningen.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM local time.

📌 Important deadlines:

• Abstract submission deadline: September 30, 2025 (submit your abstract via the submission form: https://www.nvms.nl/index.php/registration-abstract-submission-for-the-nvms-fall-meeting-2025-are-officially-open/).
• The program committee will carefully select the most exciting and innovative contributions if submissions exceed available slots.

⚠️ Please note: on-site registration will not be possible this year, and seating capacity is limited—so make sure to secure your spot in time!

You can find the House of Connections at the following address:Oude Boteringestraat 44, 9712 GL Groningen, The Netherlands.(The venue is located in the historic city center of Groningen, just a short walk from the Grote Markt.)

➢ By Public Transport

From Groningen Central Station:

• It is a 15-minute walk to the House of Connections.
• Alternatively, take bus lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 10 from the station to bus stop Grote Markt (approx. 5 minutes). From there, it’s just a 2-minute walk to the venue.

➢ By Car

Important Parking Notice:There is no parking directly at the House of Connections. However, several parking garages are located nearby in the city center. We recommend: Ossenmarkt Garage (Ossenmarkt 1, 9712 NZ Groningen – 5 min walk)

How to get there:

• From Utrecht / Zwolle: Take the A28 towards Groningen. At the Julianaplein junction, follow signs for Groningen-Centrum. Continue towards the city center, then follow parking guidance to one of the garages listed above.
• From Leeuwarden: Take the A31/A7 towards Groningen. At Julianaplein, follow signs for Groningen-Centrum, then follow parking guidance to the city center.
• From Assen / Emmen: Take the N33 towards Groningen, merge onto the A28, and follow signs for Groningen-Centrum at Julianaplein.
• From Germany (Bremen / Oldenburg): Take the A28/A7 towards Groningen. Cross the border at Bad Nieuweschans, follow the A7 to Groningen, and continue to Groningen-Centrum.
• Boterdiep Garage (Boterdiep 45, 9712 LN Groningen – 10 min walk)
• Forum Garage (Schoolstraat 16, 9712 JS Groningen – 5 min walk)
