NuWav: The Next Wave of JoyTribe Nights Flowing on from the Liberators Ecstatic Dances we all know and love, JoyTribe is carrying the banner forward with NuWav... a fresh, streamlined space for pure self-expression, connection, and dance in a beautifully crafted sober, mindful environment.
What’s Changing?
Our monthly sober nightlife is evolving! Instead of NuTopia every month, we’ll now alternate between:
A simplified Ecstatic Dance Night: one epic sober dance journey, a guest facilitator warm-up, and a nourishing meal.
and
A Mini Festival: multiple DJs, workshops, elixir bar, food, and creative offerings (think NuTopia vibes).
This month, we’re kicking things off with a very special guest:
DJ OKTO from the Blazing Swan community! A multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer, OKTO is known for his versatile bass house sound and magnetic stage presence. His sets weave raw emotion and meticulous soundscapes into a dance journey that stays with you long after the last beat drops.
The Night Flow
6:30pm — Doors open + optional body paint fun under black lights
7:30pm — Connection + warm-up with our facilitator
8:00–9:30pm — Ecstatic Dance with OKTO
9:30pm — Nourishing feast by Chef Rodrigo
What is Ecstatic Dance?
It’s a safe, expansive, substance-free dancefloor where you get to move exactly how you feel. No steps to learn, no right or wrong... just play, freedom, and expression. We dance barefoot, we stay non-verbal to deepen the flow, and we leave our phones behind to co-create a space of presence and respect.

To celebrate the talents of our JoyTribe community, this night comes with an optional body-paint theme! Watch yourself (and others!) light up under the black lights.
📌 Important: No entry after 7:30pm so we can all drop in together.
