Nutrition on a Budget
for new adults (~18 to ~mid 30s)
Striking out on your own for the first time, and wondering how to stay healthy while saving money? In this program, led by Hannaford dietician Alex James, we will discuss general nutrition, planning/shopping, healthy shopping tools, and delving more into meal planning and prep.
Alex James is a registered dietician who graduated from University of Maine and loves all things food and nutrition. Her areas of interest include nutrition in aging, cooking, and public health education. She lives in Augusta with her husband and their German Shepherd. She loves her role with Hannaford, because she get to share her knowledge and expertise with a large variety of people.
