Come to the 21st annual Nutmeg Dulcimer Festival - Friday-Saturday, Nov. 8-9. This year's world-class featured dulcimer artists:Kara Barnard has entertained audiences from coast to coast and internationally. She is the 2022 National Mountain Dulcimer Champion and a popular and outstanding teacher with a diverse repertoire and a magnetic personality.
Nate Pultorak is the 2019 National Hammered Dulcimer Champion who now lives in far-upstate New York. Last year, he wowed everybody at Nutmeg with his playing and teaching, so we brought him back as a featured artist.
Plus Special Guest Artists Daniel Skála and Matěj Číp on cimbaloms, from Hungary and the Czech Republic, respectively. The cimbalom is an Eastern European hammered dulcimer, and it's a conservatory instrument there. Don't miss this rare opportunity to learn from these two cimbalom masters up close!
