Nutcracker Reimagined brings you: Sugar Plum Brunch
About this Event
A sold-out favorite returns—now in Carmichael!
Nutcracker Reimagined brings you our Nutcracker Pancake Breakfast and Sugar Plum Brunch on Saturday, December 12, 2026.
First presented at the Harris Center, with sold-out performances there, Nutcracker Reimagined has brought a fresh holiday experience to Sacramento-area audiences for five years. Our previous Pancake Breakfast sold out in approximately one week—and now this beloved experience is returning at The MuVment Studio’s new Carmichael location!
Enjoy breakfast or brunch and a 45-minute live performance filled with hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap, and musical theater. Familiar characters come to life through energetic dancing, imaginative storytelling, and a whole new holiday rhythm.
After the performance, journey into The Sugar Plum Kingdom! Children can meet the characters, pose for photos, collect signatures in their character passports, enjoy table coloring, and decorate a Nutcracker-themed wooden ornament at the central craft table. Each child also receives a take-home bag of treats.
This event is part of The MuVment Studio’s annual fundraiser. All proceeds support performing arts in our community and our mission to make dance more accessible to local children.
