Things to know:
- The Nutcracker On Ice will be held December 20th and 21st.
-All interested skaters are invited to participate regardless of skill level!
-Interested skaters will learn a short piece of choreography on the 18th and perform it in small groups for our casting coaches. All participants will be cast. Auditions help to best match skating personalities and strengths with characters.
-There is a $10 audition fee.
-If you’re interested in auditioning but cannot attend at the scheduled time, please reach out via email to discuss your options: [email protected]
-Skaters must be an SMSC home or associate member for the 2025-26 season and commit to skating 10 hours of SMSC programming outside of Nutcracker rehearsals between August 25 and December 20.
-The practice schedule will be set after we have collected schedule conflicts from participants. We will do our best to honor conflicts but appreciate your flexibility and respect of limited ice options.
