About this Event
Back by popular demand! Following the success of our previous session, we are delighted to offer this course again for schools across the diocese.
This engaging and reflective one-day course is designed to support educators and governors in developing a confident, shared understanding of spirituality within their school communities.
Participants will:
· Explore what spirituality means in the context of education
· Learn how to embed a consistent and meaningful approach to spirituality across the curriculum
· Reflect on their own spiritual development to feel more confident and comfortable leading in this area
· Discover practical strategies for monitoring and evaluating the impact of spirituality in school life
· Understand how this work aligns with the expectations of the SIAMS inspection framework
Ideal for those seeking to deepen their understanding and leadership of spirituality in line with whole-school vision and values.
Feedback included:
- I feel very inspired to go back to school and begin working with our community to implement ideas from today.
- An excellent course in it's entirety.
- A practical and engaging way to develop an understanding of spirituality and how it can be explored further in school.
- The practical examples were so useful. It was great to try out some spiritual activities that can be shared with other members of staff and adapted for use with different children too.
- Very inspirational and I feel I have learnt so much about what we mean by Spirituality.
