This workshop aims to provide breastfeeding mothers with information and practical tips on nursing and parenting toddlers and older children.
The workshop is 1 hour and is immediately followed by our Playgroup & Social, where parents can have the opportunity to meet and talk to other mums who are breastfeeding.
In this workshop, we explore some of the common challenges, associated with this stage of the breastfeeding journey. This will depend on the needs of the group, but may include topics such as family nutrition, family life, gentle parenting, night time parenting, breast-weaning, returning to work or studies and life beyond the boob.
Children of all ages welcome and a wide variety of toys is available. Partners / Support People welcome.
There will be a variety of LLL gifts, literature and information packs for sale, related to the topic, so you may wish to bring some cash with you, in case there's something you'd like to buy.
LLLGB is a registered charity, and as such, we welcome donations to help pay for our ongoing group costs. Parents can donate any amount they wish to, but a suggested donation of £3.00 per mother or £5.00 per couple is appreciated.
Donations are payable in cash on the day.
