Explore what it’s like to work in the health care field at NIACC’s Nursing and Medical Assisting Exploration Camp! Campers will learn hands-on skills related to careers as an LPN, RN, and Medical Assistant while discovering what patient care looks like in real-world settings.
Participants will practice essential healthcare skills in NIACC’s state-of-the-art Health Simulation Center using high-fidelity manikins that breathe and blink. Each camper will also receive a stethoscope to use during patient assessments.
