Book, Music and Lyrics by Dan Goggin
Directed by Keith Edward
Assistant Director & Choreographer Megan McNellage
Music Director Paul Rossen
Produced by Elli Swink
Featuring Chrissy Barnett Miller, Jessica Bay Graber, Katherine Eden, Courtney Knoerlein, and Glenda Fu Smith.
PERFORMANCE DATES: Weekend performances October 16-November 1. There will be a matinee on Saturday, October 31, but no evening show on Halloween. Gaithersburg Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road, Gaithersburg, MD.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Nunsense is a hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child of God. Thus, the remaining nuns – ballet-loving Sister Leo, street-wise Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, the Mother Superior Sister Regina, and mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert – stage a talent show in order to raise the money to bury their dearly departed.
TICKETS & INFO: $25 / $23 for Students (15-18) / $16 (ages 14 & under). Recommended for ages 10 & up. Online ticket sales end two hours prior to performance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Arts Barn box office or by contacting the Arts Barn.
