Come and meet the fishers, farmers, chefs and producers behind Northern Territory seafood at a free afternoon of food, demonstrations, tastings, stories and family-friendly fun at the Darwin Waterfront.
Part of NT Seafood Month, the NT Seafood Celebration brings the industry together in one place, giving you the chance to see premium Territory seafood prepared live, taste the results and hear directly from the people who catch, grow and supply it.
From Humpty Doo Barramundi and NT mud crab to locally farmed prawns, Spanish mackerel and Australia Bay Saddletail Snapper, this is an afternoon dedicated to the people, places and produce that make NT seafood so special.

Executive Chef John “Jojo” Borlagdan cooks Humpty Doo Barramundi, joined by producers Dan and Tarun Richards.

Meet Thamarrurr Sea Farmers and see how Territory mud crab is expertly handled and tied.

Meet multi-generational fishers Bruce and Juanita Davey of FV Wildcard alongside Norm Hedditch from Taroona.
Watch a whole Spanish mackerel filleting demonstration, hear stories from the people behind the fish and enjoy freshly prepared sashimi.
