Ladies “Outlying Islands” Play at the Studio Theatre Ashley Rd on Monday 16/2/26@ 7.30pm. Early Bird Tickets £13 pp. In the summer of 1939 on the eve of WWII, two young Cambridge ornithologists are sent to a remote uninhabited Scottish island to survey the birds, unaware that it is being considered for an anthrax testing site. Isolated with the island’s leaseholder and his niece, what begins as a scientific mission gradually evolves into a compelling psychological drama.
