NSRI Station 15 Mossel Bay New Year’s Beach Run has been revivedThis race was initiated by one of our Mossel Bay Station’s crew members, the late John Deacon, during the year 2000 when he was also serving as Deputy Station Commander to raise funds for Mossel Bay NSRI but also as an awareness campaign for NSRI. The first New Year’s Beach Run was presented on the 1st January 2001 and has been running since. NSRI Mossel Bay is excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual New Year’s Beach Run on 11 January 2025, a beloved community event that was unfortunately paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic but we are committed to making this year’s event a great success and we would greatly appreciate your continued support.
This is essentially a family fun event that we aim to just start the new year on a fresh and positive note giving the runner a chance to reflect on the year past and the one lying ahead.
The 2025 beach run will take place on Saturday the 11th January 2025 at 07:00 from the main parking area at Diaz beach.
