Welcome to Nepal Rising Seattle’s Annual Gala Fundraiser 2026. Join us for an evening of inspiration, community, and meaningful impact.
Over the past decade, Nepal Rising has supported underprivileged and marginalized communities across Nepal by providing relief, rebuilding after crises, and investing in long term resilience at the grassroots level. This year’s theme, Catalyzing Youth-led Grassroots Change, reflects the growing role of young people in shaping a more hopeful and sustainable future for their communities.
This year, we are honored to welcome Maggie Doyne, co-founder of the BlinkNow Foundation, as our keynote. Maggie’s journey began as a teenager when she traveled to Nepal and formed a life changing connection that led her to build the Kopila Valley Children’s Home and School, creating education and opportunity for hundreds of children. Her story is a powerful reminder of how compassion and action can transform lives.
A former CNN Hero, Maggie Doyne is also the author and star of the riveting book and now an award-winning movie "Between the Mountain and the Sky".
