Thursday 21st November 2024 — NP Sessions hosted by Civic Engineers.
With the kind support of Civic Engineers , we are providing in-person complimentary design reviews and workshops for current and prospective students and young practitioners within engineering, architecture and the built environment; irrespective of your background or academic stage.
We encourage women, disabled and Black, Asian and Global Majority Ethnicity candidates, as these groups are consistently underrepresented throughout the construction industry.
'Sessions' simply focuses on improving representation in the built environment. We do this through the offer of complimentary short- and long term mentoring support for young professionals from underrepresented backgrounds.
As proof of its success, since March 2020, we have engaged with over 760 individuals in 50 cities globally; including of course London. 'Sessions' is winner of the Diversity in Action category at the Inspire Future Generations Awards as well as being Finalist in the Mentoring category.
If cancellation / rescheduling is required, please aim to do so with as much advanced notice as possible, or at least 2 days, prior to your Session. Please note that repeated cancellations will result in refusal to future bookings.
Please arrive at the 10mins before your booked Session.
We run entirely on a not for profit voluntary basis therefore any patron support made will be used for administrative purposes and to maintain the longevity of the mentoring initiative.
Please note we will be recording and taking photos on the evening for use on our social media channels.
