The Duncannon A.T. Community and Borough invite you to participate in our NOYE PARK CLEANUP CREW volunteer day on July 11th, 2026!
SIGN UP REQUIRED: ttsu.me/noyepark
Noye Park is the lone green space and community park in the lower part of the Duncannon Borough, and has been well loved and used by the community and visitors alike for many years. Thanks to the support of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, a project is in place to restore the streambank along the Little Juniata River, remove invasive plants, re-plant native species, and restore the park walking trail.
In order to make the park a place that all Duncannon residents and visitors can enjoy, sometimes a little bit of hard work is the best place to start. On July 11th from 8:00am to 4:00pm, volunteers like yourself will be taking over the park to pull invasive plant species, cut and remove dead or undesirable vegetation, and clear off/patch the asphalt walking path.
Volunteers will need to wear sturdy shoes and long shirt/pants, and we are excited to give out free gloves/safety glasses, lunch and snacks throughout the day, as well as a custom “Noye Park Cleanup Crew” shirt to everyone who helps out!
Don’t wait, sign up now!!
