Nowruz Persian New Year Solidarity Event

Join the Mehr Foundation as we welcome the Persian New Year and the arrival of spring. This year’s Nowruz celebration in San Antonio is more than a seasonal transition; it is a gathering of community, culture, and a heartfelt stand in solidarity with the people of Iran.

As we celebrate the "new day," we honor the rich traditions of our heritage while reflecting on the courage and resilience of those who strive for a brighter future.

• Memoriam: A dedicated moment of reflection to honor the victims of the Iran war & uprisings and those who have sacrificed for their country.
• Solidarity: We gather to show our unwavering support for the Iranian people during these transformative times.
• Light Refreshments: Enjoy traditional Persian tea and cookies as we celebrate the community spirit.

بنیاد «مهر» شما را به استقبال از سال نو خورشیدی و آغاز بهار دعوت می‌کند. جشن نوروز امسال در سن‌آنتونیو، فراتر از یک تغییر فصل ساده، محفلی است برای پیوند جامعه، فرهنگ و ابراز همبستگی صمیمانه با مردم ایران.

ما در حالی فرا رسیدن «روز نو» را جشن می‌گیریم که به سنت‌های غنی نیاکانمان ارج نهاده و همزمان، شجاعت و پایداری کسانی را که برای فردایی روشن‌تر می‌کوشند، گرامی می‌داریم.

• سفره هفت‌سین سنتی: تماشای زیبایی و نمادهای سفره آیینی، پیام‌آور زندگی، سلامت و برکت.
• شعر و سخنرانی: غرق شدن در اشعار جاودانه شاعران پارسی‌گو و شنیدن سخنان برآمده از دل جامعه.
• یادبود: لحظاتی برای تأمل و بزرگداشت یاد جان‌باختگان جنگ و خیزش‌های اخیر ایران و کسانی که جان خود را فدای میهن کردند.
• همبستگی: گرد هم می‌آییم تا حمایت بی‌دریغ خود را از مردم ایران در این دوران سرنوشت‌ساز نشان دهیم.
• پذیرایی: صرف چای و شیرینی‌های سنتی ایرانی در فضای گرم و صمیمی جامعه.

بنیاد مهر یک سازمان غیرانتفاعی است که با هدف ترویج فرهنگ، هنر و آموزش ایرانی در جامعه سن‌آنتونیو فعالیت می‌کند. ما از طریق برگزاری رویدادهایی مانند نوروز، در پی ساختن پل‌های تفاهم و حمایت از ایرانیان خارج از کشور و همسایگان محلی خود هستیم.
