About this Event
You’re Invited to Celebrate Nowruz!
Join us for a joyful afternoon as we welcome the Persian New Year with community, culture, and family-friendly celebration!
For those who may not be familiar, Nowruz, which translates to “New Day” in Persian, marks the beginning of the Persian New Year and is celebrated by millions of people around the world — particularly in Iran and across Central Asia, the Caucasus, and beyond. This ancient festival has been observed for over 3,000 years and holds deep cultural and historical significance.
Nowruz signifies not just the start of a new year, but also a time of renewal, rejuvenation, and hope. It symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, the victory of life over death, and the promise of a fresh beginning. It’s a time when families gather to reflect on the past year, express gratitude for blessings received, and look forward to the opportunities and adventures that lie ahead.
Whether you're continuing a cherished tradition or discovering it for the first time, we invite you to be part of this beautiful celebration of spring and community.
