Winners of mens novice competition can't compete again they have too compete in the mens open competition later in the year

5 events are as follows
1. Walking Stones
Mrs Dinnie & Baby Donald
86kg - 107.8kg ringed stones
Lift them and walk for distance longest distance wins 10mtr run you have to turn with the stones no dropping them your only aloud one 10s drop and relift
2. Fin Mc Cool Stones to the shoulder
80kg Stone to the shoulder move your hand wait for the down then to the ground for reps 75s the most reps wins
3. The Brianna stones
85kg & 70kg joined together 2.2 meters apart you've to lift one of the stones at a time to the length of the chain then the other stone to be carried and over a 12 meter course both stone have to be placed over the line before time stops do not throw the stones as they are historic
4. The Clare Glen rock hold
20kg stone you have to stand on the platform arms out straight Hold stone on both sides of the stone hold for time best time wins
5. The Shannon Duck Walk
120kg stone with a T-bar you will be walking with it between your legs for 10mtrs drop and then returning back 20 mtrs course in total best time wins 75secs time limit
Kilts & t-shirts must be worn in the competition all day
Chalk, belts and elbow/knee sleeves all must be used on the day
Attention
No homemade leg guards, Tacky , deadlift or squat suits are not allowed to be used in the competition
