Family Meal is so happy to announce that this month's featured poet is Bryan Roessel
Bryan Roessel is a poet/event organizer/science teacher in New York's Lower Hudson Valley. Bryan is one of the founders and organizers of Rockland Poets, which has held poetry open mics, slams, and workshops in and around Rockland County NY since March 2011. Bryan's been featured at a variety of poetry events, including at the Utah Arts Festival. Bryan also has exactly one poem on Button Poetry. Their poetry is mostly about science, mental health, relationships, existentialism, and gender.
SIGN UP to perform from 6 to 7 or during intermission. There are 25 spots available and they fill up quick.
Sara Durango will supply you with carefully crafted cocktails and if you're hungry, Dim "SUMTHING" by Chef Patti Jackson will be available; 8 courses of small bites for $28 + Abby Prager of @unofficial_ice_cream_company will be there to serve delicious ice cream and sorbet.
@raquelsroom will be selling flower & merch plus raffling off some goodies.
Our suggested donation at the door is $10 and you'll receive a raffle ticket for every $5 you spend!
All donations go towards future OPEN MICS and our UPCOMING ANTHOLOGY.
The doors open at 6 PM and poetry will start promptly at 7 PM.
Payment accepted will be Venmo @familymealevents OR cash.
