November Vermont Greenway & Eco-Patch Workday

The Potrero Gateway is officially open, but work on the Vermont Greenway & Eco-Patch continues!

Join volunteers from Northwest Potrero, the California Native Plant Society—Yerba Buena chapter, Friends of the Urban Forest, and other supporters on the 400 Block of Vermont Street, nurturing the community through urban greening at our 3rd Saturday workdays at the Vermont Greenway & Eco-Patch.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, volunteers will continue weeding, water and harvesting seeds of California natives on the hillside. Rain dates are the Sunday following, at the same time and place.

Volunteers should bring sturdy shoes, a hat, sunscreen, water, and gloves, especially for children. We will provide tools and instructions. Register today to secure your spot.
