Join us this November for a month of creativity, community, and cozy projects at Ava’s Alterations & Galante Couture! Our Thursday evening sewing classes are designed for all skill levels—whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stitcher, you’ll leave with a beautiful, handmade creation and new sewing confidence.Each week, we’ll tackle a new project inspired by the season:
November 2025 Sewing Class Schedule
1. Thankful Table Placemats
Date: Thursday, November 6 | 6–8 pm
Adult/teen focus, family-friendly
Sew custom placemats with autumn fabrics and “Thankful” messages—perfect for your Thanksgiving table!
2. Kids’ Class: Cozy Fleece Hand Warmers
Date: Thursday, November 13 | 6–8 pm
Kids sew and stuff cute, reusable hand warmers in fun fall shapes (hearts, leaves, turkeys). Great for chilly days or as gifts!
3. Personalized Mug Rugs
Date: Thursday, November 20 | 6–8 pm
All ages welcome! Make mini placemats for mugs—perfect for cocoa, coffee, or as a thoughtful handmade gift. Add names, appliqué, or festive designs.
No class Thanksgiving week (November 27)—studio closed for the holiday.
All classes are just $30, include all materials, and are taught in our friendly, welcoming studio. With only 8 spots per session, you’ll enjoy plenty of hands-on guidance and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
