We happen monthly!
21+ Free Storytelling open mic night
Doors open at 5:30pm, telling goes from 6-8 with a 10 min intermission
(Doors don’t lock, if you’re late simply enter quietly)
All tellers are volunteers, you can sign up at the door or during intermission (spots not guaranteed)
Tellers are given up to seven minutes to share-whatever! Generally it’s personal anecdotes, but we’ve had poetry and songs and wonderful interpretations. Everything hate free is allowed.
We ask participants and audience members support The Black Box by getting a couple drinks at the bar or donating (They also have cool merch) they let us use the space for free. Go local Art!
