November Photo Walk - Fairhaven

Join Blackpool Community Darkroom for a friendly photo walk exploring Fairhaven Lake and the surrounding coastline.

There’s plenty to photograph, from the reflections, boats and birdlife around the lake to the distinctive Pagoda boathouse, gardens and winding paths. We can head towards the seafront to explore the sea wall, wide skies and sweeping views across the Ribble Estuary, where the changing tides, patterns in the sand and coastal wildlife offer plenty of opportunities to experiment with composition, texture and light.

Whether you’re drawn to landscapes, wildlife, architecture, little details or the everyday life of a seaside community, there’s something here for everyone. We can take our time, try different approaches and see what catches our eye along the way.

Our photo walks are relaxed, friendly and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities to share ideas, learn from one another and enjoy making photographs together. Bring whatever camera you have, digital, film or your phone, and join us for a bit of exploring and creative inspiration on the Fylde coast.

We will meet at Lakeside Café at 11am, returning by 1pm for a brew and a chat for those that want one.
