A big hearfelt howdee to all our Americana jam friends and associated dreamers of the Americana dream! The beginning of November soon approaches and so it is that time once again to gather round on a late Sunday afternoon at the Salty Pidgin and share some music together.
As many of you may know, our dear friends Peter and Cathy Dyer are moving to Auckland this month. Never failing to lift the tone with Pete's lovely guitar and voice and Cathy's bass to keep us grounded and in the groove, the Dyers have been a huge part of our circle; ever friendly and open to sharing with us their knowledge of Americana music and their love of classic country and western swing, we will all miss you both and miss the pleasure we have had playing together each month.
So, come on down, bring your instruments and your songs and join us this coming Sunday to help us wish Peter and Cathy a fond bon voyage and usher in a new beginning!
