Zach Englebert started caving in 2017 and has held leadership roles in several grottos and regions during his travels. He currently serves on the NSS Board of Governors. He has searched for caves professionally with the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and a private geophysical consulting firm. Today he works on CaveFinder, a tool that helps people find new caves.
Zach Englebert introduces CaveFinder, a tool that uses LiDAR terrain data to help people look for new caves. He explains how it works and talks about how cavers can use it to guide their own field searches.
